Becoming a Member of Stillwater Bible
Membership at Stillwater Bible Church is open to any person who has put their faith in Christ for salvation and who has a desire to join our fellowship. In order for a person to become a member we strongly encourage them to attend one of our Membership Training Seminars. Those who attend a seminar will learn:
- What we believe as a Church
- Our Purpose, Plan, and Process for Ministry
- Expectations of Members
- Organization of the Church
Participants will be provided a seminar packet including a membership handbook, information regarding the various ministries, and contact information for ministry coordinators. Membership Training Seminars are held approximately four times a year. Seminar check-in, member photos, and a free meal begin immediately after the worship service. Child care is provided for the duration of the seminar.
Having completed the Membership Training Seminar, a new member is encouraged to participate in new member recognition during one of the morning worship services. During the recognition time the pastor introduces the new members to the congregation and shares some information that the new member has provided. Typically, new member recognition occurs on the Sunday morning that follows the training seminar.
